The market is orientated towards the local people, although it is popular with tourists. You will find various textiles, electronics, houseware, jewellery, handicrafts, and food for sale. A Walk Along The Riverside
Another excellent way to enjoy Vientiane when you visit is to enjoy a romantic stroll along the Mekong riverside and take in the city’s ambience. It is a popular place for locals and tourists in the evening so that it can get busy. There are also plenty of snacks and drinks you can enjoy along the way, and it is an excellent way to see the sunset.
